Our Minister

The Venerable James Daymond

James and his wife, Brittany, joined us in January 2023. Through the generous support of Bush Church Aid, a national Anglican organisation supporting ministry in the bush, St Paul’s is now able to have a full-time minister which hasn’t been the case for 20 years.

James previously served as an evangelist at Mudgee and Narromine. Prior to that, James and Brittany served at St Clement’s Anglican Church, Mosman where for two years James was a Trainee Minister and then for seven years was the Evangelism Minister. Brittany served as the Music Director and Assistant Children’s Minister.

It was during his time at St Clement’s that James began part-time study at Moore Theological College and then transferred to the Sydney Missionary Bible College where he graduated with a Bachelor of Theology in 2017.

In addition to being the minster of St Paul’s, James serves as the Archdeacon of the North-West in the Anglican Diocese of Bathurst, an area that covers ten parishes from Wellington to Bourke and from Cobar to Coonabarabran. This role involves James representing the interests and priorities of Bishop Mark Calder and encouraging parishes to Share Jesus For Life.
